Dr. Krech graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Bachelor of Art in Art (studio), and Bachelor of Science in Ecology as well as a minor in chemistry from SUNY Plattsburgh. She received her Doctorate in Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University and completed a residency in low vision and ocular disease at the West Haven Veterans Administration Hospital.
